Evermore & Co. exists for the artisans, founders, and craftspeople who put quality ahead of quantity and capability ahead of recognition. We’re here for all those who produce exceptional work, charge what it’s worth, and still watch clients choose someone cheaper, louder, or less qualified. Melissa Bolton is a Brand Therapist® and strategist who’s spent over thirty years studying what prompts a client to choose your business over their other options. Her approach is rooted in behavioral psychology and buyer research, designed to reveal what makes your work distinctly yours and tell your story in a way that resonates deeply.
Catherine Haugland has spent the better part of two decades creating visual identities from scratch. She draws custom marks, hand-renders visual elements, and approaches every project with a blank page. Her portfolio has earned recognition locally, nationally, and internationally because work of that caliber commands respect. Every visual suite she creates for Evermore is chosen once and retired forever.
The two of us have collaborated for years because neither of us could ever find another partner who cared as much about the work as we do. Back in 2012, we launched Revolutionary Branding and opened the doors to everyone. We created a vast amount of work, but over time, we realized our finest creative output consistently went to the practitioners who simply refused to cut corners. So we closed up shop and built Evermore & Co. specifically for them.

MELISSA BOLTON, Writer
Melissa Bolton has been reading people accurately her entire life. The whole branding thing came later.
She holds the Brand Therapist® trademark because after years of behavioral copywriting and brand psychology, it was the most honest and accurate thing she could put on the door. Her particular gift is getting underneath what a brand is doing and finding the thing that drives it. Clients recognize themselves in her work long before they can explain how she got there.
She began her career as a financial adviser and spent years managing in both retail spaces and service industries before she ever wrote a word of single word of professional copy. That background lives and breathes in every single thing she writes. She understands what it takes to earn trust, and it shows.
She is a police wife, a mom to two grown kids, and a reader who loves to learn. She lives on the shores of Lake Ontario, wanders small boutiques the way some people wander museums, and dabbles in genealogy. She built a million-person audience as a writer and thinker, which means she’s always done her best work on the page, in her own time, without an audience watching. She’s quite particular about what she puts her name on, and it shows in everything she touches.

CATHERINE HAUGLAND, Designer
Catherine’s a ‘take the scenic route’ kinda gal. You’ll see it in how she lives and how she creates.
She grew up in Iowa, which maybe explains something about the way she works. Unhurried, precise, and fully committed to getting it right in a way that has nothing to do with pressure and everything to do with standards. Her design practice, Avalon Rose Design, has always had a nostalgic sensibility, both as an aesthetic choice and as a philosophy. She believes most things were just done better before, and she designs accordingly. Her work has a stillness to it that's impossible to manufacture. It comes from someone who genuinely believes the best things just take as long as they take.
Every mark she creates is drawn by hand. No shortcuts, no AI generation, and definitely no borrowed assets. What a client receives from Catherine is something that exists in the world because she put it there, line by line, created from nothing but her own imagination. She is, in every sense, the real thing.
On a personal level, she's a wife, a mom to two grown kids and a golden retriever, an insatiable reader, a collector of old clocks and piles of ephemera, a gardener, a coffee-lover, crochet & knitting aficionado, and of course a creator and an artist.
